Learning Desing in the Digital Age
In this course, I explored modern learning design strategies using digital tools and technologies. Throughout the class, I created interactive projects with Adobe Captivate, designed instructional infographics, and developed field reports that reflect real-world learning scenarios. Emerging Web Technologies
This course focused on helping future educators and instructional designers discover web-based tools that make learning more interactive, accessible, and exciting. Each week, I explored different categories of digital tools, from collaboration platforms to multimedia creators, and evaluated how they can enhance online and in-person learning experiences.
For my final project, I created a Technology Toolkit Website designed to showcase curated tools across multiple categories. This toolkit serves as a practical resource for educators looking to incorporate tech into their instruction in meaningful and engaging ways.
Instructional Design Frameworks
This course focused on building a strong foundation in instructional systems design and preparing future instructional designers to create effective, goal-driven learning experiences. Throughout this course, I explored widely used instructional design models such as ADDIE, the Design Thinking Model, and Merrill's Principles of Instruction. We analyzed how each model supports learning and performance in education and training environments.
Web Authoring Tools
This course focused on designing and building modern, cloud-based websites using visual web-authoring tools that allow designers to prioritize form, function, and user experience over manual coding. Throughout the course, I applied foundational web design principles, including layout, color theory, texture, typography, and imagery, to create visually cohesive and user-centered digital experiences. Emphasis was placed on intentional design decisions, accessibility, and usability, culminating in the development of a polished website that demonstrates both creative and strategic web design skills relevant to professional and client-facing environments.
