Instructional Design Frameworks
This course focused on building a strong foundation in instructional systems design and preparing future instructional designers to create effective, goal-driven learning experiences. Throughout this course, I explored widely used instructional design models such as ADDIE, the Design Thinking Model, and Merrill's Principles of Instruction. We analyzed how each model supports learning and performance in education and training environments.
Project for this course:
Creating Your First Podcast Instructional Module
For my project, I designed a complete instructional plan for a 60-minute podcast training module intended for adult and college-level learners. The project applied the ADDIE framework from analysis through evaluation and included instructional materials, facilitator documentation, assessment instruments, and an evaluation plan. This project demonstrates my ability to translate learning theory into practical, implementation-ready training solutions that support skill development, performance improvement, and measurable learning outcomes in corporate and organizational settings.
