About K-5 Learning Support Toolkit
The K–5 Learning Support Toolkit was created by LaTrice Little-McNeil, a freelance web designer, nonprofit leader, and graduate student pursuing a Master of Science in Instructional Design and Technology. With a background in design and a passion for education, LaTrice focuses on developing digital learning resources that make teaching and learning more accessible for all. This toolkit was designed to bridge the gap between classroom learning and home practice. Teachers often provide strong support in school, but parents may feel unsure about how to help their child with homework or reinforce skills. The toolkit offers technology resources that make learning more engaging and manageable, from apps that read stories aloud to tools that build math fluency and focus. By connecting teachers, parents, and students with easy-to-use tools, the K–5 Learning Support Toolkit strengthens home-school partnerships and gives every child the opportunity to succeed.

Toolkit Features
The Technology Toolkit is designed to be simple, practical, and easy to use. Each tool is organized into clear categories like reading, math, writing, and social-emotional learning, making it quick to find exactly what you need. The site features trusted resources that are safe for children, many of which are free or low-cost, along with short explanations and direct links. Teachers can share these tools with parents, giving families step-by-step support that makes learning at home both accessible and engaging.
Communication & Collaboration
This category focuses on tools that help teachers, parents, and students stay connected. From classroom updates to parent messaging and student voice platforms, these resources make it easier to share progress, encourage teamwork, and strengthen the partnership between home and school.
Multimedia
